RSNA 2023
The 109th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2023) was held in Chicago, USA with 616 medical device manufacturers present. YMIT was an exhibitor for the 9th time and we showcased our direct and indirect deposition products. We received a lot of inspiration from everyone who visited our booth, asking us questions about our products and discussing the themes we are currently researching. We will continue to strive to be at the forefront of medical advancements and look forward to returning next year.

November 4 to November 11

『IEEE NSS MIC RTSD 2023』(VANCOUVER CANADA)
Exhibit and Oral Presentation
The IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.) sponsored exhibition was held for eight days from November 4th to November 11th in Vancouver, Canada. We exhibited at the 2023 IEEE NSS MIC RTSD (Nuclear Science Symposium, Medical Imaging Conference and Room Temperature Semiconductor Detector Conference), and also gave presentations during the Technical Session to introduce the company and the research conducted by our engineer. In the Technical Session, we showcased YMIT’s product line and its unique characteristics. In the individual presentation, our engineer delivered her research titled “X-ray Radiolysis of CsI:TI Scintillator Films and the Release of I2”. It was a valuable opportunity to learn about other companies and research by engineers and institutions around the world.

New Staff Initiation Ceremony
YMIT welcomed 7 newly-graduated staff members on April 1, 2023.
After the New Staff Initiation Ceremony, they started the New Employee Training program in Yasu HQ.
With new staff members YMIT is even stronger and will continue to strive to grow and develop in the future.

November 27 to November 30

RSNA 2022
The 108th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA 2022) was held in Chicago, USA from November 27 to November 30, and YMIT exhibited at the show for the 8th time. This year the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was almost unnoticeable and many booths were thriving with many visitors. YMIT displayed ten scintillator samples and had valuable exchanges with booth visitors regarding cutting-edge technology and the future of the medical industry.

November 8 to November 10

Exhibit at IEEE NSS-MIC-RTSD 2022(Milano, Italy)
YMIT exhibited at 2022 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium, Medical Imaging Conference and Room Temperature Semiconductor Conference held between November 8th to November 10th at Milano Convention Centre (MiCo) in Milano, Italy, organized by IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.)
IEEE is a professional association for electronic engineering and electrical engineering headquartered in the U.S., and this symposium was held in-person for the first time in three years due to the circulation of Covid-19
YMIT displayed a thin and light-weight flexible scintillator and customized scintillators in different sizes, and had technical exchanges with many visitors. At the conference, more than 1000 presentations and poster exhibitions were held. It was a valuable opportunity to come into contact with cutting-edge research themes through question-and-answer sessions with presenters.

RSNA 2021
YMIT recently exhibited at the 107th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago, USA in Nov, 2021.
As a company, YMIT was grateful to be able to attend 2021 RSNA in Chicago since the in-person RSNA 2020 show was canceled due to COVID-19.
Although there were fewer exhibitors and visitors at RSNA 2021 compared to past shows, we observed that all exhibitors brought their cutting-edge medical technology to vitalize this year’s RSNA and the industry’s dedication and enthusiasm to promote progress in the medical field was palpable. YMIT’s mission is to play a major role in the advancement of medical technology and we will continue to strive for technological innovations in the future.

Phase 3 of YMIT's factory construction was launched
YMIT entered the third phase of planned construction on its factory in August. A third building is being erected next to YMIT’s headquarters as part of an ongoing initiative to add capacity and support the company’s expansion.

RSNA 2019
YMIT exhibited at the 105th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago, USA in Dec, 2019. It was our 6th consecutive year to attend the show and we would like to thank all visitors to our booth for the invaluable discussions that we held. This year, more than 700 medical device manufacturers exhibited cutting-edge products, especially those where artificial intelligence (AI) was applied to diagnosis. We observed the significant advance of artificial intelligence in the medical field and reaffirmed our responsibility as a manufacturer related to the generation of basic image data.

YMIT Exhibition at IEEE NSS-MIC 2019, Manchester
YMIT exhibited at the 2019 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium & Medical Imaging Conference from October 29 to October 31, 2019 in Manchester, England. The show was organized by IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc.). IEEE is the technical professional organization for advancing technology, headquartered in the U.S.
We displayed 5 different kinds of scintillator plates, CsI (IT) thickness ranging from 200μm ~ 600μm, and had meaningful discussions with many visitors.

YMIT exhibited at the 104th Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago, USA. This was our 5th consecutive year to attend the show and this year we significantly expanded our product range on display so as to attract a broader audience. We would like to thank all of the visitors to our booth during the event. We were also able to explore other companies' booths, and were thrilled by the progress of medical technology on show. YMIT continues to invest heavily in R&D and intends to remain a key player in this fast-moving medical technology advancement. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

YMIT exhibited at the 103rd RSNA 2017 in Chicago in what as our fourth appearance at the show. Thank you very much to those who visited our booth, we enjoyed meeting every one of you as well as sharing our latest technologies and products with you. We also had the opportunity to visit other exhibitors’ booths and were impressed by the advanced product and application developments on show. YMIT is committed to investing extensively in R&D to push technological boundaries and determined to contribute to the medical industry with innovative products.

YMIT exhibited for a third consecutive year at the 102nd RSNA 2016 in Chicago. Thank you very much to those who visited our booth. We learned a lot by speaking with our visitors and YMIT strives to enlarge its product offering to be used in a wide range of applications.

YMIT Headquarters Completion Ceremony

YMIT HQ’s Completion Ceremony was held on June 25th in Shiga, Japan. In attendance were the Governor of Shiga Prefecture, the Mayor of Yasu City, and many of YMIT’s business partners. YMIT CEO, Mr. Kunimoto, gave a speech expressing our sincere appreciation to all those involved in the successful construction and completion of our facility.
The ceremony was followed by a tour of our new factory to provide our attendees with an understanding of our cutting edge technology. We continue to strive for both business growth and making a positive contribution to society.

YMIT Exhibition at CMEF Spring 2015, Shanghai, China
YMIT exhibited at CMEF in Spring 2015, the 73th China International Medical Equipment Fair. This exhibition was held from May 15 to 18, 2015 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, and our booth was in Hall 6.2-E27 at the Japan Pavilion. Although this exhibition was very large scale and broad in range from plaster to x-ray devices, we met with many customers and gathered important feedback from this event. We utilize this valuable experience for further business development and expansion into the China medical market.

Our Tokyo Office Tulips have bloomed!
Spring has officially arrived at YMIT. Last autumn, we planted 1,000 tulip seeds at our Tokyo branch. White, red and yellow tulips are all blooming and peach colors are coming soon!

New HQ Topping Out Ceremony (November 19th New HQ Groundbreaking Ceremony)
During construction of YMIT’s new facility, we celebrated the groundbreaking ceremonyon November 19, 2014 and topping out ceremony on February 3, 2015. Our Headquarters, Kusatsu Laboratory, and Moriyama Factory will all be consolidated at this new building. YMIT members are looking forward to working at their brand new, state-of-the-art facility.

YMIT Taiwan has passed the middle audit for the Local SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research)
YMIT TAIWAN applied for the Local SBIR from the Tainan Government on May 9, 2014 and received approval for the subsidy of NT810,000 from the Tainan Government on July. 16, 2014. YMIT TAIWAN has since passed the middle audit on February 3, 2015.
